We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
individual to join our fast paced Digital Pre-press Department.
Our successful candidate will possess:
* A diploma in Printing Technology or Graphic Design paired with a minimum of 2 years printing experience or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
* Meticulous attention to detail while thriving in a multi tasking environment
* Excellent communication skills
Required Technical Skills
* Adobe Creative Suite CS2/3 with particular strengths in Illustrator
* Knowledge of Quark Xpress
* Sound working knowledge of Macintosh operating system or Windows Application
* Excellent understanding of the Litho, Flexo and Gravure printing process
* Solid Understanding of artwork preparation and trouble shooting
* PDF based work flows and Computer-to-plate operations
* Digital proofing and colour management
* Creation of mock-ups and layouts
Additional Technical Skills An Asset
* Packaging related repress knowledge
* Art Pro systems
* ICC profiling and Colour Management
