Sr CAD Specialist

Responsibilities:

Provide drafting and 3D Computer Aided Design support to Project Teams and departmental infrastructure in specialized or general disciplined areas .
Produce final engineering design documents such as three-dimensional models, detialed arrangements of equipment and components, fabrication drawings etc based on UOP design practices, industry standards and client specifications.
The designer shall coordinate with Project Manager, Fabricator and Client to convey UOP engineering design requirements to be incorporated in the completed project design.
The designer is expected to develop and generate UOP practices and standards in 2 and 3D design.
Perform 2D drafting of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) using AutoCad software for the Kuala Lumpur Design Office.
Attend and participate in customer meetings both on and off-site as assigned.
Explain the UOP standard nomenclature and drafting standards to clients.
Consult with the process engineer to create a project specific draft P&ID for internal review based on UOP standard design.
Attend and participate in internal P&ID drawing review and mark-up the project drawings per UOP standards for drafting.
Incorporate all design changes in a timely fashion for review by the process engineer.
Develop expertise in a specific technology area. Perform 2D drafting work for other UOP offices as required.
Construct 3D models for piping and equipment layout utilizing Autoplant software based on UOP and/or client piping specifications.
Conduct internal and external 3D model reviews explaining and defending design decisions.
Organize and prioritize work to meet schedule for 60% and 90% client model review.
Initiates and contributes to development and maintenance of infrastructure such as design tools, design manuals, model attributes and specification templates and shares improvements with colleagues. Develop expertise in a specific technology for optimal piping and equipment layout including offshore design practices.
Develop expertise in Autoplant software to become ‘super-user’ who can mentor others in 3D design.
Develop and maintain department 2D PFD and P&ID templates incorporating UOP and industry standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain department 3D models and templates for use in the Kuala Lumpur Design Center and other UOP offices.
Continuous learning of Autoplant 3D modeling software. Be able to proactively learn other software such as PDMS or PDS for 3D modeling.
Work with Project Manager and Team in weekly meetings and schedule updates to ensure projects are on schedule during the course of the project. Coordinating and leading the client 2D P&ID review and reading the client 3D model review.
Work with Lead Designer and other UOP offices to agree on standards and best practices ; sharing workload with international offices ; convincing customer’s engineers of design options that are proposed

Requirements:

Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. 3-8 years experience in EPC Engineering company or equivalent.
Detailed knowledge of ANSI piping classes and typical O&G piping standards.
Experience with AutoCadd drafting required. Knowledge and some experience with AutoPlant, PDMS or PDS 3D modeling software is desirable.
Capable of integrating piping standards into a detailed layout of a process unit.
Good English communication skills.
Capable of working independently and as part of a project team. Ability to work effectively with team members of all disciplines.

d. Tidak pernah dihukum penjara atau kurungan berdasarkan putusan pengadilan
yang telah mempunyai kekuatan hukum yang tetap, karena melakukan suatu
tindak pidana kejahatan.
e. Tidak pernah diberhentikan dengan hormat atau tidak dengan hormat sebagai
PNS/TNI/POLRI/pegawai swasta/pegawai BUMN/BUMD tidak atas permintaan
sendiri.
f. Tidak berkedudukan sebagai Calon/Pegawai Negeri Sipil.
g. Berkelakuan baik berdasarkan catatan dari Kepolisian Resort Kab/Kota

II. PENDAFTARAN PELAMAR
Waktu dan Tempat Pendaftaran Pelamar
1. Pengumuman secara terbuka dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 Agustus sampai
dengan 14 September 2010.
2. Pendaftaran/registrasi dimulai tanggal 1 September 2010 mulai jam 12.00 WIB
dan ditutup pada tanggal 14 September 2010 jam 15.00 WIB.
3. Pendaftaran pelamar dilaksanakan secara online melalui situs Kementerian
Perindustrian : http://www.kemenperin.go.id/

III. PELAKSANAAN UJIAN
Ujian Penyaringan CPNS akan dilaksanakan secara serentak di seluruh Indonesia
(Pusat/Daerah) secara bertahap;
1. Ujian Tahap I akan dilaksanakan secara on line
a. Pelamar yang memenuhi persyaratan akan diberikan ID dan password.
b. Pelamar yang telah memiliki ID dan password wajib mengikuti ujian Tahap I Tes
Pengetahuan Umum (TPU) dan Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) secara on line
pada tanggal 18 September 2010.
2. Bagi yang telah dinyatakan lulus Ujian Tahap I (online), wajib melakukan Validasi
Dokumen Administrastif pada tanggal 20 – 25 September 2010.
3. Ujian Tahap II akan dilaksanakan secara tertulis, bagi Pelamar yang telah
dinyatakan lulus Ujian Tahap I dan telah memenuhi persyaratan Administratif.
a. Ujian Tahap II terdiri dari Tes Pengetahuan Umum (TPU) dan Tes Potensi
Akademik (TPA)
b. Waktu ujian Tahap II penyaringan CPNS akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal
4 Oktober 2010. Khusus wilayah Jakarta bertempat di Gedung Tennis
Indoor, Senayan, sedangkan di daerah dilaksanakan di unit satker/tempat
validasi masing-masing.
c. Peserta ujian diharuskan membawa Pensil 2B asli, alas tulis dan karet
penghapus karena ujian menggunakan Lembar Jawaban Komputer (LJK).
4. Bagi yang telah dinyatakan lulus Ujian Tahap II wajib melakukan Ujian Tahap III
Tes Psikologi dan mengikuti wawancara yang akan ditentukan kemudian.
5. Hasil ujian Tahap I, II dan III serta wawancara diumumkan melalui situs
Kementerian Perindustrian : http://www.kemenperin.go.id dan papan
pengumuman Lantai Dasar Gedung Kemenperind Jl. Gatot Subroto Kav. 52–
53 Jakarta Selatan.

IV. TEMPAT DAN WAKTU VALIDASI PERSYARATAN ADMINISTRATIF PELAMAR
1. Validasi Administratif dilakukan pada tanggal 20 – 25 September 2010, bertempat :
a. Kantor Pusat (Jakarta) di Akademi Pimpinan Perusahaan (APP) Jakarta, Jl.
Timbul, Nomor 34, Cipedak, Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan.
b. Kantor Daerah di Unit Kerja Kementerian Perindustrian di Daerah (daftar
terlampir).
2. Persyaratan Validasi ;
a. Formulir pendaftaran dari hasil cetak pendaftaran on line
b. Foto copy Ijazah dan Transkrip Nilai yang disahkan oleh pejabat yang
berwenang (Surat Keterangan Lulus tidak berlaku).
c. Akreditasi Perguruan Tinggi (sesuai dengan yang dipersyaratkan).
d. Pas photo 3 x 4, sebanyak 3 lembar latar belakang merah
e. Surat Pernyataan bermaterai Rp 6.000,- bersedia ditempatkan pada unit kerja
Kementerian Perindustrian diseluruh wilayah Negara Kesatuan Republik

f. Bagi Pelamar yang akreditasi perguruan tingginya tidak tercantum dalam

V. Berkas Lamaran

a. Foto copy ijazah yang telah disahkan oleh Pejabat yang berwenang beserta
transkrip nilai (Surat Keterangan Lulus tidak berlaku).
b. Daftar Riwayat Hidup (cantumkan nomor telepon yang mudah dihubungi).
c. Pas photo terbaru dan berwarna ukuran 3 x 4 sebanyak 5 (lima) lembar.
d. Surat Keterangan Kesehatan Badan dari Dokter Rumah Sakit Pemerintah.
e. Surat Pernyataan Bebas Narkoba yang diterbitkan dan disahkan oleh Rumah Sakit
Pemerintah.
f. Kartu Tanda Pencari Kerja dari Dinas Tenaga Kerja (Kartu Kuning).

2. Lamaran yang diajukan sebelum pengumuman ini dibuat dinyatakan tidak berlaku
dan pelamar harus membuat dan mengajukan kembali lamaran yang baru sesuai
dengan pengumuman ini.
3. Pelamar yang tidak menyampaikan surat lamaran beserta kelengkapannya, setelah
dinyatakan lulus ujian CPNS sampai dengan batas waktu yang ditentukan, maka
yang bersangkutan dianggap mengundurkan diri dan dinyatakan batal.
4. Apabila pelamar memberikan keterangan/data yang tidak benar, dan di kemudian
hari diketahui, baik pada setiap tahapan tes, maupun setelah diangkat menjadi
CPNS/PNS dilingkungan Kementerian Perindustrian, Kementerian Perindustrian
berhak menggugurkan kelulusan tersebut dan/atau memberhentikan sebagai
CPNS/PNS dilingkungan Kementerian Perindustrian dan melaporkan sebagai tindak

LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER (LP-ENG)

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, with at least 15 years of process design and implementation experience of which a minimum of 10 years in oil and gas facilities experience
• Strong technical/engineering skills with thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities
• Experience that encompasses both operations and projects. Specific participation in a similar role for at least one major oil and gas project
• Demonstrated ability to interface within a multi-discipline environment, and motivate and manage personnel from a position of influence
• Experience in organizing and supervising process/facilities engineering
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
• Ability to cope in a positive and productive manner within a high-pressure environment, while handling a large amount of detail as expected in large Projects with aggressive schedules
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge productive working relationships with all personnel
• Willingness to go where the work is during the various Project phases

LEAD MECHANICAL/PIPING ENGINEER

• Must possess minimum in mechanical engineering
• Strong technical/engineering skills with a thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities
• At least 15 years of experience in piping design and participating/managing piping fabrication, testing, and completion/commissioning/start-up efforts for the offshore oil industry. Project experience includes responsibility for defining the scope of work, schedule, budget and project execution plan as related to piping design/drafting requirements
• Extensive knowledge of Codes and Standards related to piping design
• Experience that encompasses both operations and projects. Specific participation in a similar role for at least one major oil and gas project
• Demonstrated ability to interface within a multi-discipline environment, and motivate and manage personnel from a position of influence
• Experience in organizing and supervising process/facilities engineering
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (LE)

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least 10 years of electrical implementation experience in oil and gas facilities.
• Strong technical/engineering skills with a knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities.
• Demonstrated ability to interface within a multi-discipline environment, and motivate and manage personnel from a position of influence
• Broad knowledge of electrical equipment, manufacturers and system suppliers.
• Knowledgeable and practical experience with emergency electrical system requirements and design, and requirements for hazardous area certification and hazardous area equipment selection.
• Experience in organizing and supervising electrical engineering and technician teams in design, installation and commissioning.
• Good verbal and written skills in the English language.

LEAD PIPING/PDMS DESIGNER (LP-DGR)

• Must possess minimum an Engineering DRAFTING Certification/Diploma
• Strong technical/engineering skills with a thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities
• At least 15 years of experience in piping design and participating/managing piping fabrication, testing, and completion/commissioning/start-up efforts for the offshore oil industry. Project experience includes responsibility for defining the scope of work, schedule, budget and project execution plan as related to piping design/drafting requirements
• Extensive knowledge of Codes and Standards related to piping design
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

LEAD INSTRUMENT ENGINEER (LI)

• University degree in Electrical, Electronic or Physics Engineering or equivalent, with at least 10 years of oilfield experience working for either a major oil company and/or contractor.
• Strong technical/engineering skills with a knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities.
• Large, integrated project experience in an international setting. Operational experience is preferred in order to feed field experience back into the project.
• Demonstrated ability to interface within a multi-discipline environment, and motivate and manage personnel from a position of influence
• Broad knowledge of electrical equipment, manufacturers and system suppliers.
• Knowledgeable and practical experience with emergency electrical system requirements and design, and requirements for hazardous area certification and hazardous area equipment selection.
• Experience in organizing and supervising electrical engineering and technician teams in design, installation and commissioning.
• Good verbal and written skills in the English language.

SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER (SP-ENG)

• Must possess bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 5 years of oil and gas experience
• Strong technical / engineering skills in a multi-discipline arena
• Hands on experience in handling Process Engineering software
• Familiar with international codes and standards applicable in Oil and Gas industry
• Enough supervisory skill to manage a team
• Able to co-ordinate within the discipline and other disciplines
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language

INSTRUMENT ENGINEER (IE)

• Having Bachelor degree in physic Engineering Discipline from Reputable University
• Minimal 5 years experiences in project, Engineering and Design, Construction of Process Control and Instrument for Oil and Gas
• Required skill (s): Project Development, Production Enhancement in Construction, Engineering and Proposal, Control and Instrument System
• Familiar with international codes and standards applicable in Oil and Gas industry
• Enough supervisory skill to manage a team
• Able to co-ordinate within the discipline and other disciplines
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (SCE)

• Must possess Bachelor degree in Civil engineering from recognized university or institution
• Must possess 5 – 7 years experience in oil and gas industry
• Shall possess experience in handling engineering software
• Strong technical/engineering skills and knowledge of codes and standards in the civil area, plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities.
• Should have a strong motivation and effort to work
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge productive working relationships with all personnel.
• Ability to cope in a positive and productive manner within a high-pressure environment, while handling a large amount of detail as expected in large Projects
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language

JUNIOR PROCESS ENGINEER (JPC-ENG)

• Must possess bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from recognized university or institution
• Fresh Graduate are welcome
• Experience in handling engineering software
• Should be a fast learner and a team worker
• Should have a strong motivation and effort to work
• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER (DC)

• Maximum age 25 years old
